Gretchen Eisenberg
1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
Keeping a journal has been a real blessing to me. It is something that I did from my childhood through my late teen years. Now that I am journaling again, I have rediscovered my passion for story-telling, have begun accomplishing written goals which once seemed out of reach, and find myself wasting less energy on worrying as I release my concerns and fears onto paper.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
When I think about the future, my greatest concern is the disruption of the way that people connect and engage with people. This technologically advanced world has brought so much of the world straight to computer and smart phone screens. As wonderful as this can be, It does seem that many have lost the art of in-person, heart-level relationship building.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
There are two major things that I love about traveling. Those things are meeting people whose life experiences are so different than my own and seeing the amazing beauty of this world. It is so easy to get caught up in the norms of the culture and landscape of where we are that we can become less aware of how amazing and vast this world is.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
Although I have always been an empathetic person, that natural empathy now is enhanced with wisdom and experience to encourage others and to press on when the path before me seems too difficult. Life's heartaches and losses or failures and setbacks have given me a strength I did not know I had. The joy of seeing the other side of hardship has enabled me to share stories of hope and triumph when serving others going through various crises.
